After 10 years of running a successful custom children’s clothing boutique, Dunk-n-Fluff, I made the leap in offering my original designs in pdf format for the home sewist. I strive to offer easy to use and easy to wear designs with an emphasis on designs for ‘tweens and stretch fabrics.
Feel free to contact me anytime with questions or support.
I’ve been sewing since I was 10 but my business was born shortly after my daughter, Mallory. What started out as a necessity from cloth diapering blossomed into a full-scale custom clothing boutique. After 10 years of running that I made the leap into offering my original designs in PDF format for the home sewist. Again, the business took off and today I work hard to deliver easy to use and easy to wear designs with an emphasis on ‘tweens and stretch fabrics. I feel so blessed to be able to share my creative side with the sewing world: from the rookie sewist to the seasoned professional.

Welcome to Thread Count Fabrics!
I am so happy you have discovered us!Like so many other little girls, I grew up watching my mother sewing. Creating many beautiful things especially at Halloween! I loved to go fabric shopping with her, it would spark my imagination and I would dream up things we could make. Now many years later, with a young family of my own, that creative spark has resurfaced! A simple owl Halloween costume for my oldest daughter got the ball rolling. After the birth of my second daughter I found myself with even more inspiration, as who doesn’t love to sew for not one but two beautiful little girls! However, in rural Manitoba finding modern fabrics is quite difficult as fabric shops are few and far between. As an avid online shopper I turned to the internet. After my search I felt like there was a huge void in Canadian online fabric shops for the quality modern prints I was after. So while on maternity leave from my position as a nurse I decided to start an online fabric shop and just like that Thread Count Fabrics was born!
Proudly Canadian, we are dedicated to offering the finest modern fabrics to all sewing enthusiasts alike. Our fabric selection is very carefully chosen so I hope you love it as much as I do!

Welcome, thanks for stopping by! My name is Melissa. I am married to a wonderful man named Kevin and we have two awesome kids - Aliah & Levi.
After Aliah was born I started making hair clips and hand embroidering onesies. Shortly after that, I borrowed my mom's sewing machine and made a sleep sack for her. My love for sewing blossomed from there. I found myself travelling the USA for fabric. I decided instead of doing that, I would bring the fabrics to Canada so my fellow Canadians could enjoy them too :) That is how Funky Monkey Fabrics Inc. Started. I have been in business since August 2013.

We are a small family operated business located in Iroquois, ON – which is located right near the CANADA/US (upstate NY) border. We have a passion for organic textiles and supplies and want to share this with our customers. We bring in only the best organic textiles and supplies sourced from around the world.

AllStitch® Discount Embroidery Supply offers a complete line of machine embroidery supplies for commercial and home embroiderers. We sell products compatible with all home machines like Brother, Babylock, Janome, Husqvarna, PR600/EMP6

The Museum was founded in 1985 by a group of community volunteers who saw both the need and the opportunity to preserve and share the heritage of the textile industry with future generations.

We depend upon the assistance of over forty community volunteers for all aspects of our operations. From collections management to building maintenance, from fund raising to managing the gift shop our volunteers play a key role, and are the secret to the museums success.

Started in 2013, l'oiseau fabrics began as Michelle's search for Euro knits that were not locally available. Many disappointed trips into Calgary became a resolve to bring them in herself, and here we are! l'oiseau fabrics is a family-run online store located in Southeast Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Jalie is a mother-daughter company. It was founded by Jeanne in 1983 when Émilie was only 3 years old. The two now make a fantastic duo who brings you practical patterns for the whole family. The company has been based in the family home since the very beginning and practically everything is done in house, from pattern design and prototyping to photo shoots and packaging.

Our purpose is to preserve and foster the art of smocking and related needlework for future generations, through education, communication, and quality workmanship. To establish high standards of quality workmanship and to further the appreciation of smocking art and other associated handiwork through education and communication."

At Pink Hollybush Designs we teach modern smocking through our courses and patterns so moms and grandmas can create a hand stitched garment that children adore. In particular we focus on helping sewists smock knit garments that busy mamas don't have to iron and that chidren love to wear because they are so soft and comfortable.

I started smocking some years ago having been taught by the lovely and most helpful Chris Slade.

Since then I had concentrated on commissions. I created many outfits to showcase my work, using beading, ribbon work and heirloom lace. When Slade retired I took over and set up House of Smocking and expanded the choices of fabric, patterns and haberdashery, which I hope you will find tempting.

At Children’s Corner Patterns, we design sewing patterns for girls and boys with classic, timeless styles for the modern child. For more than 40 years, our patterns have inspired sewers to dress boys and girls as children should be dressed.

While we continue to create sewing pattern designs for the girl of today, we are committed to our roots in classic, heirloom and smocked styles such as our smocked Bishop dress and Lee, the classic yoke dress.
